However, this test exceeds the traditional ECG, because, while the latter basically evaluates two parameters, namely the electrocardiographic behaviour and the blood pressure behaviour under stress, the cardio-pulmonary test also considers <strong>the respiratory and metabolic aspects of the individual<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div practice.<\/p>\n<p>The cardio-pulmonary test, therefore, in addition to evaluating the same parameters of the normal exercise ECG, measures the ventilation, the oxygen consumption and the carbon dioxide production during exercise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fusion-clearfix\">In this way the measured parameters provide an overall picture of the patient\u2019s physiological cardiac disease and\/or bronchial and lung disorders, the test is strongly indicated in three very frequent conditions of illness. In all these cases, thanks to its completeness, the functional test allows an evaluation of the physiological profile of the subject both from a cardiac and a respiratory and metabolic point of view and it allows the assessment of the anaerobic threshold, which is very important for the establishment of the subject\u2019s functional limitations. This allows for both an adequate control of the cardiac patient\u2019s physical activity during a rehabilitation program, but also for the precise assessment of the parameters to be used to establish a proper therapy.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-65afa4b elementor-section-boxed data-tab=\"1\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"ha-toggle__item-title-8001\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The first condition relates to <strong>ischemic heart diseases<\/strong> for which it is necessary to check the coronary reserve; for example, postoperative patients of a coronary by-pass for which the test is used to check for the presence of residual ischemia from stress.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ha-toggle__item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"ha-toggle__item-title-8002\" class=\"ha-toggle__item-title\" data-tab=\"2\" concerns those with<strong> heart disease and\/or chronic bronchitis<\/strong> who undergo a rehabilitation program.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ha-toggle__item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"ha-toggle__item-title-8003\" class=\"ha-toggle__item-title\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"tab\" aria-controls=\"ha-toggle__item-content-8003\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"ha-toggle__item-icon ha-toggle__icon\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"ha-toggle__item-title-8003\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A third group of patients are the bearers of <strong>a more or less severe heart failure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ha-toggle__item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"ha-toggle__item-title-8004\" class=\"ha-toggle__item-title\" respiratory ones, are a specific indication, especially for those suffering from <strong>emphysema<\/strong> or <strong>chronic bronchitis<\/strong>, because this examination can provide important information on the severity of the disease, its evolution, and provide guidance on the rehabilitative therapy approach.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-603270f\" data-id=\"603270f\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div
